I only stock premium quality raffia, sustainably grown and harvested
from Madagascan palms. All my coloured raffia has been hand dyed with love by me on my verandah using botanical dyes. I use some commercial botanical dyes, but my favourite colours are from the dyes that I extract from plants and kitchen scraps. My dye garden is a great source of sustainable raw material. I bundle my raffia into hanks of approximately 50gram (can vary from 45grams to 60grams).
This 100% Madagascan raffia has been hand dyed in an indigo vat that I created on my verandah.
