These high quality 100% cotton 6 strand, slight sheen threads are perfect for embroidery, cross-stitch, sashiko and French work. These threads have been hand dyed by me using brown onion skins that I saved from my kitchen scraps. Brown onion skins create a yellow dye that can be changed to green by the addition of iron water.
